We are planning a conference for college and career-aged young adults to be held from October 16-17, 2026. This conference is being held at the beautiful Gull Lake Ministries Conference Center and Resort near Kalamazoo, MI. It will begin late Friday afternoon and end Saturday evening. A full line-up of activities is available including pickleball, bowling, the traditional photo scavenger hunt, campfire, and much more. We have rented multiple lodges and have enough room for 60 campers. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are host families available for those attending from out of state for Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
Topics are being planned by Dr. Bilkes and Mr. Arends. Dr Bilkes is vice president and professor of homiletics and biblical studies at Puritan Theological Seminary. Before taking up his studies at PRTS, Mr. Arends did mission work in Bolivia for five years. Iron Sharpening Iron is the theme of our conference, with topics including Christian fellowship, handling disagreements and conflict, interacting with unbelievers, and encouraging evangelism and global outreach.
All single young adults and unmarried couples are invited to join us for this event. On Sunday, October 18, there is a fellowship meal planned at Kalamazoo Reformed Church for lunch, as well as a singing and discussion time after the evening service with a meal and time of fellowship.
Pictures from the beautiful grounds of this ministry center are available online at gulllake.org. Four meals and one night of lodging are included for $150 (with early bird pricing of $130 through September 15).
Attendees must be registered by October 9.
